Hi Everyone -
I thought I'd post this out for readers to comment on and review. I have run across TVU Networks, which you can get to by clicking here which seems to offer free over the net broadcasting of network channels in the US and abroad all via a installed player.
This seems like one of those "too good to be true" and "how come I haven't heard of this before kind of things" so that's why I'm making an open posting looking for anyone's thoughts and comments on this.
For what it is worth, I'm posting from work, on a PC laptop - while using the TVU to watch Sky Sports football (soccer) roundup channel from England. I also switched over to a CBS affiliate and watched some Rachel Ray show - commercials and all.
Is it possible this is a potential way to get the sports we need - or those one time shows like Oscars for example - that we can't easily get from torrents or Hulu?
They also have an iphone app which is supposed to do that same over a WiFi network.
Let me know what you think...
UPDATE: As Jimbo points out, Veetle is also a good option for sports. Thanks Jimbo!
